How warm is the water in Cyprus diving?

Cyprus’s water temperature changes from season to season. The water can get up to 28-30°C (82-86°F) throughout the summer (June to August), which is perfect for warm-water diving with light wetsuits. Water temperatures in the winter (December to February) dip to about 16–18°C (61–64°F), which can be a little cool for some divers.

The typical water temperature in Cyprus is around 22-24°C (72-75°F) in the spring and fall months (March to May and September to November), which is comfortable for most divers all year long. For diving in the winter, a thicker wetsuit—around 5-7mm—is advised.
